FAQs
Got questions? Explore these FAQs to learn more about our assessment and approach.
This assessment draws from 30 years of first-hand ayahuasca experience - including 20 years of facilitation. Our deep understanding of preparation essentials integrates traditional ayahuasca wisdom, contemporary therapeutic approaches, and modern science.
Can an online assessment really determine if I'm ready?
This is a self-reflection tool, not a screening. It shows your starting point in four areas and what may need attention before you decide. If you do go on to sit in a ceremony, any responsible organisation will also ask you for a medical check and a personal conversation first. Be wary of one that doesn’t.
Why is proper preparation so important?
Ayahuasca is an experience that requires careful consideration. Understanding your emotional, psychological and practical readiness helps you approach it at the right time and with the right mindset.
How important is psychological stability and resilience?
Ayahuasca experiences often challenge your sense of identity and self-awareness. Having psychological stability and resilience helps you navigate deep inner experiences safely and constructively. This assessment supports you in identifying your readiness to manage temporary shifts in perception and identity.
What will my results tell me?
Your report shows your score in each of the four areas: inner calling & motivation, emotional readiness, practical preparation, and psychological & ego strength, with what your answers suggest looking at next.
What happens if my score is low?
A lower score is information, not a verdict. It shows which areas could use more time, and time is something you’re allowed to take.
